In an interview for Croatian news and business magazine, Vecernji list, Ales Zivkovic—London-based psychotherapist and organisational development consultant—talks about leadership and team development in companies and organisations.
In the interview, Ales spoke about some of the main misconceptions that come with the use of common psychological assessments used in business setting and some of the threats of labelling and generalising people based on simplified results of such assessments. He also spoke about the importance of subjective experience that a team member has within a team. And also what the role of group dynamics and individual’s relational patterns is in determining such personalised experience. There is also a reflection of how leadership influences group dynamics and how one-size-fits-all solutions might be appealing but are rarely useful.
